Almost done painting! Just another coat of red and we're done!

The finish work was just finished today, along with hanging the furnace room door.

Next step is to clean up a little and get the carpet in. :)

Meanwhile the projector is up and running in our living room. It looks great!

Tile....check!

So we're just about done tiling! All that is left is the bathroom. Ran into some trouble smoothing out the cement.

We also have the carpet picked out! It's perfect. Next step is the finish work which will hopefully get started later this week. Once that's done we finish painting the upper half of the walls maroon and then carpet!!!

Oh, and the projector has been shipped!!! It's on truck for delivery so we expect that Monday or Tuesday. Can't wait. It's all coming together now. Another month and we'll be watching movies in style!

Started tiling the back half of the theater last night. Front half will be carpeted.
We should be finishing up the rest of the tile this weekend.

Getting close!

The past few days have seen a lot of progress! Yesterday the ceiling was sheet rocked and today the walls were completed. Plastering this weekend! WOO! I can't believe how far we've come in just six months. It's really coming together now. We're aiming for the end of spring for "completion". That meaning the basement will be usable as an entertainment space. Hopefully the only thing we'll be waiting on, if anything, is carpeting.
